  •    Architecture                         (Posted on March, 2010)

Abstract - 10x10/3 is a comprehensive and global view of new architecture, presenting the work of 100 up-and-coming architects from around the world, selected by 10 of the best-informed critics, curators, and architects. They include Joseph Grima (USA); Kengo Kuma (Japan); Peter Schmal (Germany); and Ai Weiwei (China).
Abstract - The first edition of this major survey on interior design by John Pile won the 2001 ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Educational Foundation/Joel Polsky Prize. Now this standard history has been updated to reflect greater coverage of non-Western design, as well as vernacular and residential interiors.
Abstract - All projects in this book are documented in full, with sketches, drawings, and photographs, and detailed descriptions by author Carlos Castanheira and Siza himself. Siza's architecture has been defined as continuously experimental; as this generously-illustrated volume makes clear, each of his designs responds creatively to its setting but his work as a whole retains a unity of form.

    10 x 10 / 3 : 100 architects,
    10 critics.

Reinforcing national pride in Nepal's vernacular architecture, this unique collection demonstrates how traditional art and architecture can be successfully incorporated into homes for today's changing world.
