Library is a great place to study. On each floor of the AU library, you can find many places to study and relax. AU Library offers a variety of spaces for group study, meetings, classes, and presentations. However, some of them require advance reservations. Find Your Place to Study at St. Gabriel’s Library
Comfortable spaces, helpful services and four floors designed for every kind of learner
First Floor: Start Here
Looking for a comfortable place to study, work on an assignment or meet classmates? St. Gabriel’s Library at Assumption University’s Hua Mak Campus welcomes students, faculty, researchers and visitors with friendly service and a choice of spaces for quiet study, reading and academic collaboration.
The first floor is the perfect starting point. At the Circulation Counter, library staff are ready to help users borrow, return and renew materials, find resources and make the most of the Library’s services.
The Reading Zone offers something for everyone, from individual desks for focused study to large shared tables for books, laptops and group work. Comfortable lounge seating also provides an easy place to read, take a break or recharge between classes.
Students can also use the Computing Service for research, coursework and access to essential software and online academic resources.
Need to print in a hurry? The Self-Service Printing Station allows users to print documents directly from a smartphone without connecting to a computer, making printing quick and convenient.
Second Floor: Quiet Study and Bilingual Resources
The second floor is a Quiet Study Zone for reading, independent study and focused academic work. Three individual study rooms are available for users who need additional privacy and concentration.
Students may choose individual desks or larger tables with plenty of room for laptops, books and notes.
The floor also features an extensive collection of Thai- and English-language books supporting a wide range of subjects, assignments and research needs.
Third Floor: Room to Focus and Work Together
The third floor offers a spacious and welcoming setting for study and academic work. Two study rooms provide useful options for individual learners and small groups.
Individual desks support quiet concentration, while large tables provide ample space for collaborative projects, research materials and laptops.
Whether preparing for an examination, completing an assignment or meeting classmates for a study session, students can settle in and find a space that works for them.
Fourth Floor: A Dedicated Space for Graduate Students
The fourth floor is reserved for graduate study and offers a calm environment for advanced academic work. Eight study rooms are available exclusively for Master’s and Doctoral students, providing dedicated spaces for research, thesis writing and focused study.
To help everyone enjoy a productive and respectful environment, users are kindly asked to follow the Library’s study room regulations. Wherever and however you study best, St. Gabriel’s Library has a place for you.
