On August 11, 2026, the Central Library organized a Library Instruction and Research Skills Workshop for Master’s students in the MBA in Music Business program. The workshop was held in the Computer Room on the 1st Floor of St. Gabriel’s Library, Hua Mak Campus.
The workshop was organized at the request of Dr. Lu Zhu, Program Director of the Doctor of Philosophy in Arts, Music, Sports, and Entertainment Management, Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management. The session was designed to equip students with essential information literacy and research skills to support their academic studies and research.
The training covered the following key topics:
- Searching for Information through the AU Library Website – learning how to efficiently discover books, e-books, journals, databases, and other academic resources available through the library.
- Searching the AU Institutional Repository (AU-IR) – learning how to locate and access academic works and research outputs available through AU-IR.
- Using EndNote Web – learning how to collect, organize, and manage references for academic writing and research.
- Using Turnitin – introducing students to the use of Turnitin for checking academic work and promoting responsible academic writing.
Through its Library Instruction Service, AU Library is committed to supporting students in developing essential information literacy, research, and digital academic skills. These skills enable students to discover, evaluate, manage, and use scholarly information effectively throughout their academic journey.
