What is the Book Suggestion Service?
This service empowers all members of the AU community to request books, journals, and other academic resources for the library to acquire. If there’s a resource you need that’s not currently available in our collection, simply submit a request, and we’ll review it for potential addition in both print and digital formats.
How to Request a Book or Journal
If you can’t find what you need in the AU Library, follow these simple steps:
1. Search Our Online Catalog
Before submitting a request, check our catalog to see if the material is already available or on order.
2. Submit Your Request
Provide as much detail as possible to help us process your request efficiently. You can use the following forms:
o Book Purchase Request Form
o Journal Article Request Form
o Book/Journal Article of Resources and the Environment Request Form
What Happens Next?
Once your request is submitted, our librarians will review it. If approved, we will acquire the material as quickly as possible, and you’ll be notified once it’s available.
