Turning the Pages: Library Team Helps Grad Students Make the Write Moves

The library team at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) struck a high note of support for postgraduate learning this week. Mrs. Wilai Pruesapancha (Information Services & Learning Support) and Ms. Wantinee Kaewkheaw (Librarian) led a lively and hands-on e-resources orientation for graduate students from the School of Human Sciences.
A rendezvous with digital mastery
Students were introduced to the vast world of the AU Library’s e-catalogues, research databases, and digital tools, from remote access to institutional repository gems. In the interactive session, Khun Wilai and Khun Wantinee demonstrated how to import citations and organize them via tools such as EndNote, and how to interpret the similarity reports generated by Turnitin to uphold academic integrity.

Why this matters
Graduate study is a different beast: more demanding, more connected to real-world research, more expected. With AU Library’s support, students gain the know-how to harness digital resources, streamline research workflows and stay ahead of the citation-and-plagiarism curve. “We were honored to be invited by Dr. Marilyn Fernandez Deocampo, Program Director of the Doctor of Philosophy in English Language Teaching, to lead this session.”, said Khun Wilai.
