Unlocking Research Excellence: ELT Students Empowered by AU Library Training

The Assumption University Library team continues to be a pillar of academic excellence, equipping students with essential research skills through its latest Library Training and Workshop for MA in English Language Teaching (ELT) students from the Graduate School of Human Sciences.

Held at Hua Mak Campus, this interactive session empowered eight ELT students with the knowledge and tools to navigate AU’s extensive research resources. From utilizing the AU Library website to accessing printed and digital books, dissertations and theses in AU-IR (Assumption University Institutional Repository), and leveraging educational tools like EndNote and Turnitin, the session was a comprehensive deep dive into research mastery.

Guiding the session was Dr. Marilyn Deocampo, Director of the ELT Department, alongside the dynamic AU Library team, represented by Ms. Wilai Pruesapancha and Mrs. Wantinee Kaewkheaw. Their expertise and dedication ensured that students walked away with a newfound confidence in conducting high-level academic research.

The AU Library is committed to enhancing research literacy and fostering academic success by providing students and faculty with top-tier resources and training. This session is one of many initiatives aimed at equipping AU’s academic community with the necessary skills to excel in their respective fields.

A big round of applause to the AU Library team for their unwavering commitment to supporting student success! Their dedication continues to make AU a hub of knowledge, innovation, and academic excellence.
