Research Revolution: AU Library Hosts Comprehensive Training for MBA Students

In a bid to bolster academic success among its students, the Assumption University of Thailand (AU) Library, in partnership with the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, held a comprehensive training and workshop session on Saturday. The event, aimed at Master's students from the MBA-Hospitality & Tourism Management program, ran from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and covered critical aspects of academic research and resource utilization.

Participants were introduced to a variety of essential tools and techniques, including the setup of proxy servers for remote access to library resources, effective methods for retrieving information from the library's extensive catalog of books, e-books, and articles, and the use of educational tools such as EndNote and Turnitin. The session was led by Mrs. Wilai Pruesapancha, Department Head of Information Services and Learning Support, and Mrs. Patcharaporn Tantipalphant.

Khun Wilai expressed her satisfaction with the outcome of the workshop, highlighting its importance for the students' academic and professional development. "Empowering our students with these skills is fundamental to their academic and professional growth. It's always rewarding to see them confidently navigate and utilize the vast resources available to them," she said.

"The students were highly engaged and enthusiastic throughout the workshop," Mrs. Patcharaporn added. "Our goal is to ensure they feel supported and equipped to make the most of the library's resources, ultimately enhancing their overall learning experience."

The workshop underscores the AU Library's commitment to providing robust support to its student body, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their studies and future careers. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the university to enhance the educational experience through practical and targeted training sessions.
